We Started Rethinking What Happens After Someone Generates a Logo

Working on an AI logo generator has made me think differently about what early-stage founders actually need from a branding tool.

When you're starting a business, getting a logo is usually one of those tasks you want to check off quickly.

You pick something you like, download it, and move on to building your product.

But then you need a landing page. A social media profile. Maybe a pitch deck or some marketing materials.

And suddenly, having a logo isn't quite the same as having a brand.

That's something we've been thinking about while working on LogoAI.

Instead of just offering templates to choose from, we've been moving toward a workflow where founders can start with a business name, generate original logo concepts with AI, refine the direction they like, and build a consistent set of brand assets around it.

The idea isn't to make branding more complicated. It's actually the opposite.

Most early-stage founders don't need a 50-page brand strategy. They just need a visual identity that feels consistent and is easy to work with as their business grows.

We're still exploring how to make this process simpler through LogoAI.

I'm curious how other founders approach this.

When launching a new product, do you spend time building a consistent brand identity upfront, or do you figure it out as you go?
